It was announced back in September this year that The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) was proposing to cut the feed-in tariff rates for Solar PV installations by as much as 87% which was set to come into place 1st January 2016.
However, due to the overwhelming response this is now being considered to come into effect in Jan 15th 2016 instead.
The new figures which are to become into effect January 1st-15th 2016 will be as follows:
|Capacity||Feed-in tariff rate (p/kWh)|
At this time we are still awaiting confirmation on the FiT drop for January 15th. We will however report the changes as soon as they are confirmed.
